The Red Sox won 9-3 in Weyburn Tuesday night and swept the Beavers in the two game series. Fernando Burgos started and pitched 3 2/3 innings allowing 2 hits. Michael Batten picked up the win pitching 1 1/3 relief innings. All 6 Sox pitchers held Weyburn to 7 hits. Offensively Ryan Eastburn hit home runs in the 7th and 9th innings. Sam De La Cruz chipped in with 3 hits. The Sox continue on the road Wednesday night in Melville.
