The Sox rebounded from a 12-1 loss Saturday to the Edmonton Prospects with a 10-4 win Sunday over the Beavers in Weyburn at Tom Laing Park. Trevor Crawford, a RHP from Shepherd MI earned his first win of his WCBL career. The Lenoire Ryhne University product pitched 6 innings of 3 hit baseball allowing 3 runs (2 earned) while striking out 4 Weyburn hitters. He got some help from Hunter Smith who pitched the 7th and 8th innings and Zane Pollon who closed out the 9th inning. The pitching staff allowed just 4 hits over the 9 innings.

 

 

Offensively the Sox had 5 hitters with multiple hits. Mike Kenney was 3 for 5 with 1 RBI. Nathan Bach went 2 for 4. Chase Taylor from Salt Lake CC had a big game going 2 for 4 with 2 RBI and Max Lecroy joined the hit parade with a 2 for 4 game. The Red Sox belted out 14 hits on their way to scoring their 10 runs.
