The Sox rolled into Fort MacMurray for a two-game set Friday night and wo 15-9. Colton Anderson started his 3rd game of the season and improved his record to 3-0 with a 2.41 era. Colton pitched 6 innings allowing 4 runs on 5 hits and struck out 9 batters. Josh Castillo pitched a shutout 7th inning before handing the ball off to Brendon Gutierrez and Brandon Rice.

The Sox scored their 15 runs on 11 hits. The Giants pitchers walked 10 Sox batters which lead to some big innings. Justin Carinci hit a 2nd inning Grand slam HR and added another double giving him 10 RBI on the season. Jackson Syring, Silas Butler and Micheal Pavelchak had 2 hits each. Matthew Fox had a 3 bit game and drove in two runs. 

The Sox are now 7-3 on the season and are in first place in the East Division!

Next game Saturday against the hometown Fort MacMurray Giants in the last game of the series.
