After a 30 minute rain delay the Sox were able to split the series in Medicine Hat Saturday Night against the Mavericks. The game saw the lead 5 times over 7 innings and the Sox trailed 5 -3 after 7 innings ! Damon Elerton from University of Arkansas Pine Bluff pitched 4 innings allowing 3 runs(all earned) on 8 Maverick hits. Elerton gave way to Trinidad CO native Kade Douglas who pitched 3 innings allowing 5 hits and two earned runs. Kade was crdited with the win. Wilcox Sk native Zane Pollon had another nice appearance pitching the 8th and 9th innings allowing no hits while walking 1 batter.

The Sox did all their damage in the 8th inning scoring 3 runs and grabbing a lead they would not give up. The 3 runs were scored with bases loaded an 2 out. An error by the Mavericks 2nd basemen and a timely hit by Kendall Keller provided the boost the Sox were looking for. Mike Kenney continues to have the hot bat for the Sox with a 3 hit night moving his batting average to .409 and leading the team.

The Sox play a day/night double header on Fathers Day at 2:00 (Sylvan Lake Gulls) and 7:00 PM (Weyburn Beavers)
