The Sox made the trip up #11 Highway,  tonight for their first road game of the season. The Berries fans (2200 strong) were happy to have the WCBL back in Saskatoon. Not so happy to see their club lose their home opener.

Sox returning pitcher Daniel Crabtree got the win, pitching 7 strong innings allowing 5 hits, 4 runs (3 earned) and strike out 4 Saskatoon batters. Tyler Fortin pitched the 8th Inning and Nicolas Yard pitched the 9th inning for the Sox.

Catcher Jackson Alaniz got the ball rolling with a 3 run homerun in the 4th inning. Jackson was 3 for 5 with 4 runs batted in and earned the Player of the Game honors for the Sox. Kody Hanna had a two-hit night, driving in 2 runs. DH Jackson Syring was 3 for 5 with 3 runs scored. Matthew Fox, Silas Butler, Jalen Meyers and Glenn Noronha added singles to contribute to the Sox 13 hits evening.
