The Sox came up short in Moose Jaw Sunday Night!
Fresh off the All-Star Game Saturday Night Regina and Moose battled it out for 10 innings in a game that lasted 4 hours. It was a see saw game with the lead changing many times. Mosse Jaw was the last team to score and won the game in the bottom of the 10th.
Shortstop Jackson Romero (Game MVP) had a nice night going 5 for 5 with 3 RBI. The 3 RBI all came when Jackson hit his first homerun of the season. Justin Carinci had a nice 3 hit game and there were lots of hits up and down the lineup.
Normally 12 runs should win you a ball game but tonight was the exception. The Sox used 5 pitchers in this one. Starter Matthew Fox allowed 10 hits over 3 innings and gave up 5 runs. Middle relief allowed 6 runs on 5 hits and Chase Gruno pitched part of the 9th and the 10th and was tagged with the loss. The Sox are Home for 4 straight games starting Thursday vs Okotoks.
