The Sox lost there 2nd game in as many nights and have 4 W-6 L in their last 10 games but despite the losses still find themselves in 3rd place in the East Division. Weyburn scored 2 in the bottom of the first inning and 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th and cruised to a 7-0 win at home. The Sox bats were once again silences by Beavers starter Josh Wintroub who held Regina to just 3 hits.
Bryson Sanchez pitched 6 innings and gave up 3 runs on 3 hits but didn’t get any help offensively or defensively from his teammates. Damon Elarton inherited one runner to start the 7th inning and got into trouble allowing 4 earned runs.
