The Sox improved their record to 2-0 with a 3-0 win over Saskatoon before 723 thrilled Sox fans Sunday PM.

Regina road on the back of left-handed starter Colton Anderson who pitched 6 2/3 innings of 1 hit baseball. The Verdigris Oklahoma native (Rogers State) allowed 0 runs on 1 hit and struck out 9 Saskatoon batters. This performance earned Colton the impact player of the game award. Colton was relieved by Regina product Zander Oudie-Senger (Okanagan College) 1.1 innings and Josh Castillo (Point University) who earned the save pitching 1 inning of 1 hit baseball to close out the game.

Both teams pitched very well, and hits were hard to come by. Offensively the Sox had a 2-hit game from Port Moody BC native Angelo Franco (Mineral Area College). Kody Hanna (Coker University) kept his bat hot going 1 for 3 with 1 RBI. Silas Butler (Point University) and Mathew Fox (BYU) chipped in with 1 hit each.

The Sox play in Saskatoon Tuesday evening before returning to Currie Field Thursday and Friday to host Lethbridge Bulls.
