Melville Millionaires vs Regina Red Sox (GAME ONE) |  0 – 1

In the first game of the double-header between the two teams, the Regina Red Sox topped the Melville Millionaires 1-0 in a pitching dual that saw only three hits in the ballgame.

Red Sox third baseman, Samuel De La Cruz picked up the only hit for his club as he finished the game 1-2. Ryan Eastburn scored the only run of the ballgame which came off of a wild pitch in the second inning.

It was a team effort on the mound for the Red Sox as four different pitchers tossed in the seven inning contest with Fernando Burgos starting things off, tossing three innings of work, striking out three Millionaires batters. Jackson Cofer came in relief to toss the fourth and fifth innings before Max Ludka and Heibert Romero completed the final two.

Melville Millionaires vs Regina Red Sox (GAME TWO) |  7 – 8

The bats woke up in game two of the days double-header between these two teams as the Regina Red Sox picked up with double-header sweep over the Melville Millionaires, winning the ballgame 8-7.

Red Sox shortstop, Robbie Wilkes went 3-4 in the victory with an RBI and a runs scored, as his teammate, Griffin Keller finished 1-1 with a walk, a triple and an RBI.

Six different Regina pitchers threw in the ballgame with Matt Goertzen receiving the start, tossing three innings of work, allowing three earned runs.
