The Sox improved their record to 18-16 and moved to with 3.5 games over the Moose Jaw Miller Express. The Express still lead the Trans Canada Clash 4-2 but both teams still play each other 3 more times in the next 3 days. The Sox continue to be the hottest team in the WCBL winning 9 of their last 12 games.

Bryson Sanchez earned the victory and improved his record to 3-2. Bryson pitched 6 innings and gave Regina another quality start. He allowed 7 hits, 3 runs (3 earned) walked 3 batters and struck out 3 batters.

 

Offensively the Sox were led by Michael Zinter who went 1 for 5 but had a big 2 run homerun in the 3 inning to secure a 3-2 lead and the Sox held on to the lead the rest of the game. Shortstop Zane Zielenski went 2 for 4 and Travis Johnson and Max LeCroy had 2 hit nights.
