The Sox rolled into Brooks the day after a major rainfall that soaked much of southern Alberta and southern Saskatchewan. The rainfall was a billion dollar rain for the farming community but cost the Sox a rainout Monday night vs Medicine Hat.
Tuesday night in Brooks the Sox jumped out into the lead in the 1st inning 3-2 after scoring 3 runs in the top of the inning on the strength of Cade Nelson’s 3 run Homerun. Bryson Sanchez had a rough outing allowing 9 earned runs over 5 2/3 innings. Bryson allowed 6 walks and struck out 4 batters. Zane Pollon pitched 2 1/3 strong innings allowing 0 runs to end the game.
