The Sox began their 4-game road swing through northern Alberta with a 14-2 win over Edmonton Prospects in Sherwood Park last evening. The Prospects are playing some of their games at Centennial Field in Sherwood Park as construction continues on their new ballpark in Spruce Grove.

Holden Hungerford improved his record to 1-1 over 3 games and improved his era to 1.45 pitching 5 innings allowing 3 hits and striking out 3 batters. Vittorio Iacobucci and Brandon Rice combined for the last 4 innings and collectively allowed 5 hits and 2 runs in relief.

The Sox banged out 13 hits and scored 14 runs. Justin Carinci. Angelo Franco and Matthew Fox each had 2 hits each. Silas Butler led the team going 3 for 5 going 1 run and driving in a run for the Sox.
