The Red Sox continue to win! The Sox improved their record to 27-10 and sit 1 game behind Moose Jaw Express in the standings. Regina is doing this while having 5 players in Covid protocol since returning from their Alberta road trip on Saturday. To make matters worse Pitot Butte product Kendall Keller in lost to the team for the season with an upper body injury!

After splitting Monday nights double header with Medicine Hat (Sox 8 MH 6) (MH 4 Sox 2) Regina won game 3 of the 4 game series last night 10-1. The Sox are doing it with good starting pitching as the bullpen is depleted and putting up runs.

Regina got just what the doctor ordered in a 4 run first inning and then put up 6 runs in the 3rd inning. The early 10 run lead allowed Regina to extend starter Bryson Sanchez and save bull pen arms which are scarce at the moment. Nate Bach was 1 for 4 with 3 RBI, Michael Zinter had a 2 hit night and then their was consistent hitting up and down the lineup.

Bryson Sanchez mad his last start for the Red Sox as he had to return home for school. It was the quality start Regina needed from their starting pitcher. Bryson pitched 7 1/3 innings allowing 3 hits and 1 run. Bryson walked 3 and struck out 5 Maverick hitters. 3rd basemen Travis Johnson was forced into pitching 1 1/2 innings. The former pitcher did a great job as well allowing 0 hits and striking out 1 batter.

Both teams play tonight at 7:00 PM and the Regina is in Lethbridge Thurs and Friday before returning to Currie Sunday 2:00 PM and then Weyburn Beavers Monday and Tuesday 7:00 PM
