Regina pitcher Daneil Crabtree throws a complete game gem in Sox 5-1 win over Brooks Bombers!

The Red sox bullpen was given the night off courtesy of Crabtree last night! Daneil threw a complete game pitching the full 9 innings and allowed just 1 run on 5 hits, struck out 6 batters and walked just 1 Bomber batter. For his efforts Daniel was named player of the game. Daniel improved his record to 2 -0 over his 5 starts and has a 2.91 era over 34 innings pitched this season.

Offensively the Sox were led by Kody Hanna (Last night’s player of the game), who was 3 for 4 and hit a solo homerun in the 8th inning. Kody leads the team with a .446 batting average. Jackson Romero was 2 for 3 and scored a run and had a nice game defensively for the Sox.

The Sox hit the road for a Saturday evening game before returning home Sunday for a 1:00 PM game versus Mosse Jaw Miller Express who make their first visit to Regina. This is game #2 of the Trans Canada Clash Series.
